The Mehra Education & Welfare Society (MEWS), registered under the Societies Act XXI of 1860 at Haldwani (Uttarakhand) is sponsored by the Mehra Family located in Peerumadara. The prime objective of the Society is to provide facilities for quality education to boys and girls of all ages by establishing educational institutes like Mehra Public School (MPS), Mehra Coaching Academy and Gurukul Defence Academy. Mehra Public School was the second initiative of the society, started in year 2015 with a view to offer kindergarten, primary and senior secondary education.
