The well established house system at MPS provides an excellent platform for the holistic development of the students. The House System of the School is deeply entrenched and occupies a prominent place in the School Life of the students. The four houses are named after great luminaries in different fields. The house system in the school occupies a prominent place and plays an important role in the furtherance of cultural and co curricular activities in the school. Every student is allotted a particular house as soon he/she is admitted to the school. The school has four houses named traditionally-Bose, Kalam, Raman, and Ramanujan with the house in charge of each house. The idea of the system is to inculcate a sense of competition, cooperation, identity and belongingness. The colours assigned to each house are also symbolic of the values and ethos of the school. To instill a true sense of leadership, students are given administrative responsibilities such as house captains, vice captains, and perfects for the activities. Captains have four broad functions Assembly, Cleanliness, Display, and Discipline.

Raman House gets its name from the world renowned Scientist C.V. Raman, whose discovery of RAMAN EFFECT won him the Nobel Prize for Physics. The symbolic BLUE colour teaches the students to have a vision as limitless and a forgiving heart as big the as the space.

Ramamanujan House is named after the great Mathematician Srinivas Ramanujan whose contribution to the field of Mathematics was groundbreaking. The symbolic YELLOW colour inspires our students to be as bright as the sun and spread the brightness of their education for the good of the country.

Kalam House is named after the great scientist Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, also popular by name missile man of india. The symbolic. RED colour teaches the students to spread the heat and warmth of their nature and love all living beings.

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was a prominent leader of the Indian National Congress and later formed the Indian National Army which attempted to end British Rule in India by military conflict. The house symbolic colour is GREEN, which teaches us to respect and care for our Mother nature and Environment.
